USDA recommends reheating precooked hams to an internal temperature of 140°F.
Warming Without Glaze
- Heat oven to 275°F.
- Remove all packaging, including the clear button on the bone.
- Place ham flat/face side down in a shallow roasting pan. Cover tightly with aluminum foil.
- Bake at 275°F until internal temperature reaches 140°F (check after first 90 minutes). Do not overcook.
- Remove from oven; let stand covered for about 15 minutes before serving.
Warming With Glaze
- Heat oven to 275°F.
- Remove all packaging, including the clear button on the bone.
- Place ham flat/face side down in a shallow roasting pan. Cover tightly with aluminum foil.
- Bake at 275°F until internal temperature reaches 140°F. Do not overcook. Check after first 90 minutes.
- Remove ham from oven and increase temperature to 425°F.
- Prepare glaze per the included glaze packet instructions.
- Brush or spoon glaze over ham and between slices.
- Bake uncovered at 425°F for 8–10 minutes.
- Remove from oven; let stand 10 minutes before serving.
Storage
- Refrigerate. Once opened, use within 3–5 days.
- Wrap leftovers tightly and freeze up to 3 months.
- If unopened and freezing, place in freezer before the “Use By” date; may keep up to 6 months.
- To thaw: refrigerate 24–36 hours before serving.
